Introduction to the Unit
“It takes a village to raise a child.” The African proverb is probably overused, but for quality, inclusive education we need to engage with everybody who can support us in our work. In this module, you will be introduced to the basic notions related to open schooling and the whole school approach, as well as the key allies teachers can work with and the main challenges you are facing in it.
In this unit you are asked to use a learning journal. If you haven’t done Module 5 of the training (yet), please go to Module 5 Unit 1 Topic 1 and create a learning journal for this module. If you have worked on Module 5, you can use the same learning log in this module, too.
